Welcome all back to another blog post! I realize we have been gone for quite some time and we would like to apologize! This past year has flown by so quick and I am sure we can all agree, 2018 was one of the more challenging years in recent time, especially with the weather. While we made progress in improving our work to you, it left us without keeping you updated in our world. So, today that all changes.
I would like to introduce myself. My name is DJ Slagle, and if you have read our previous posts, I was featured in the “Getting to Know Us” series. I will be extending my hand into the social media world of ours, alongside Nathan this year, to hopefully bring more exciting news, ideas, and pro tips to all our customers. 2019 looks to be a promising year ahead and we want you to take the ride with us as we continue to provide you with the best service possible.
One of the first big updates to our company this year is that we will be looking to expand our company size for the first time in the past two years. We have been waiting for this to make sure we could fine tune some of our flaws, and now we believe we have strengthened our craft and are ready to spread to new heights.
In this expansion, it would be fair to assume we would need more work and more customers, correct? Absolutely. This leads me to another 2-for-1 update in that I have now moved from my Lead Field Supervisor role in the company to join the Sales Department to help in that effort. In this move, we have hired John Bradshaw to fill the Lead Field Supervisor spot and we have very high expectations for him moving forward this year. We will be featuring him next week in our next “Getting to Know Us” post.
Our last major update for the company is that we have moved! No, not into our new facility on our land unfortunately, but with the growth planned for this year we needed a bigger space. We have moved into the office space in the past few weeks and look to have the rest of our operations join us shortly in the coming weeks. This move will bring the office and the operations together under one roof. Having the entire company at one location will allow us to embody the family atmosphere and allow those who may not have had interaction daily, to now do so and grow closer together.
I hope this little glimpse into what we have in store for this year has gotten you just as excited as we are. This year, we are striving to deliver even better work and outstanding customer service from top to bottom and I hope you will be one of those to come along for the ride! Also, please if you see any of our employees or trucks out and about, do not hesitate to say hello! We are always ready and willing to answer any questions you may have!
